This new tourism development is only 20kms south from the Taba border between Egypt and Israel, overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba. There is an 18 hole US Championship level golf course, a marina, a casino (plus 3 hotel based casinos), and a full range of leisure activities including excursions and water sports. It is a peaceful resort, ideal for a relaxing break as a hotel based holiday, or you may want to take advantage of the new ferry service operating from the marina to get to Aqaba in Jordan (it takes about an hour to cross) to visit Petra.
