Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts continues their expansion with a new management contract in Egypt. Located in Dahab Bay on the Gulf of Aqaba, the former Helnan Hotel underwent a complete major renovation programme prior to re-opening late August 2007 as Le Meridien Dahab Resort & Spa.

Le Meridien Dahab Resort is a majestic resort, designed by the famous architect and interior designer, Alain Jaouen. Ideally located in the heart of Sinai, the hotel is an hour's drive from Sharm El Sheikh.

Club Mistral Windsurfing

Le Meridien Dahab's location is more suited to experienced and advanced sufers, however arrangements are made for beginners to learn windsurfing in the bay. All equipment is no more than 12 months old and is replaced new every year. The Windsurfing Club is open daily from 9am – 6pm.

Kids Club

4 – 12 Year olds (Under 4 years must be accompanied by an adult) - Babysitter or Nannies can be arranged at $10 per hour (24 hour notice is required). The children's Club is free of charge for hotel guests and is open from 9.30am - 1pm & 2pm – 6.30pm throughout the year and has its own separate shaded pool.

Hotel Accommodation

Le Meridien Hotel offers a unique experience in every one of its stylish guest rooms and suites. Warm earth tones and luxurious sitting areas create an inviting ambiance for you to experience and enjoy. Interconnecting rooms (double with a twin room) are available. In all the 182 rooms - internal design and size - are the same (except Deluxe sea view rooms have a small private garden at the back with an outdoor shower and sun lounger). Accommodation is in two wings with paths leading down to the private beach, or to the pool areas below the main building.

Superior Sea View Rooms - are located just behind and above the Deluxe Sea View Rooms and have a terrace furnished with a sun lounger & coffee table. In-room facilities include: 23" LCD TV with satellite channels, air conditioning, internet access (local charge – cabled & wireless), Mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, IDD phone, hairdryer & safety deposit box, bathtub with separate shower, bathrobes and slippers, magnifying mirror and Le Meridien amenities with "I forgot" items on request.

Deluxe Sea View Rooms - have the same facilities as Superior Rooms above.
Deluxe Rooms are front row with a terrace furnished with a sun lounger, chair & coffee table. The small private enclosed patio at the back has an outdoor shower, sun lounger and table.

Deluxe Sea View Suites - have the same facilities as Superior Rooms above.
King size bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, separate living room furnished with sofa and armchairs. The second bedroom has twin beds. There is a large private garden with an outdoor shower and a Jacuzzi pool (heated during winter).
